SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A Kentucky woman accused of fatally shooting her two young children Wednesday has been charged with two counts of murder, authorities said.
Deputies responding to a report of a shooting in Shepherdsville found the children, ages 9 and 6, with gunshot wounds, the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. The children were taken a hospital in Louisville and later died, according to the statement.
Tiffanie Lucas, 32, was arrested and taken to the Bullitt County jail. No other information was immediately released. Online jail records didn’t indicate whether Lucas has an attorney.
