Sabrina Carpenteris sharing her short n’ sweet self-care routine.
The “Espresso” singer, who just finished the first leg of her Short n’ Sweettour, prioritizes a certain regimen to maintain a sense of normalcy amid her busy schedule.
“This would sound a little annoying to me a couple years ago, but I definitely had a certain ritual,” she explained to British Vogue in a Dec. 10 interview. “Overall, it was just being more conscious around making healthy choices for myself. Making sure I’m prioritising sleeping and prioritising protein.”
And the 25-year-old, who recently called it quits with Saltburnactor Barry Keoghanafter one year of dating, has been relying on this ritual to help her through both the good and the bad.
“If I feel good on the inside, then I can make it through as much as I humanly can,” she continued. “I also had my sister and my best friend on the road with me, so that also kept me sane.”
The couple—who first sparked romance rumors in December 2023—spent much of their relationship in the public eye. After all, the Girl Meets Worldstar was never afraid to show him off. Barry, 32, even starred in her “Please Please Please” music video released in June.
"I was like, 'Who's the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?'” she said of the casting on an October episode of CBS Sunday Morning. “And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it.”
But since the couple’s split went public earlier this month, Barry—who shares son Brando, 2, with ex Alyson Sandro—has received significant backlash, causing him to deactivate his Instagram. And he refused to silently accept the hate.
"I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don't respond too," he recently wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "I have to respond now because it's gettin to a place where there are too many lines being crossed."
"I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work,” he continued. “The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine."
To look back at how their relationship started, keep reading…
After sparking romance rumors in December 2023, SabrinaCarpenterand Barry Keoghanfueled dating speculation when they were photographed together on a date night in Los Angeles less than two months later.
The Saltburnstar made his relationship with the "Espresso" singer Instagram official by commenting on a video of her performing a duet with Taylor Swiftin Sydney, Australia. Sabrina had opened for the Grammy winner for weeks on her Eras Tour but was unable to perform her regular set that day due to bad weather.
Barry would later go on to meet up with Sabrina during the tour.
The pair attendedVanity Fair's 2024 Oscars after-party together but did not walk the red carpet together.
They then made their romance red carpet official at the 2024 Met Gala.
The "Feather" artist celebrated her 25th birthday with The Banshees of Inisherinalum, friends and a Leonardo DiCapriomeme.
If their relationship wasn't official enough already, Sabrina and Barry hard-launched through the singer's music video for "Please, Please, Please." Later, the Disney Channel alum detailed what the moment meant for her.
"I don’t want to sound biased, but I think he’s one of the best actors of this generation," she gushed to Varietyin August 2024. "So getting to see him on the screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special.”
