Taylor Swift's behind-the-scenes look at the Eras Tour hits different.
The "Cruel Summer" singer released the music video for her single "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" on Aug. 20, and the visuals offer a glimpse into what it takes to make her record-breaking tour come to life.
The video answered fans’ burning questions about how Taylor secretly travels around the stadiums—confirming the theory that she steps inside a cleaning cart before being wheeled backstage. Another clip showed what really happens when she “dives” under the stage following her acoustic set, revealing her leaping onto a plastic inflatable under the catwalk in dim lighting.
The clip also documented how she makes it back on stage in record time between each set, showing her using a special sliding box that helps her scoot from one end of the stage to the other.
What else goes into putting on shows for upwards of 70,000 people each night? As shown in the video, dozens of dedicated stage crew members, costume changes, and tons of rehearsals with her backup dancers, including Kameron Saunders, Jan Ravnik and Melanie Nyema.
The "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" video arrived on the heels of Taylor's eighth and final show at London's Wembley Stadium, her last stop on the international leg of her Eras Tour.
And the Grammy winner certainly made sure the final performance was extra special. Florence Welch joined her on stage to perform their collaboration "Florida!!!" during the Tortured Poets Department section, and Jack Antonoff stepped out during the surprise set to assist with her acoustic renditions of reputation's "Getaway Car" and Lover's "Death By a Thousand Cuts," both of which he produced.
Not in attendance at the closing show? Travis Kelce, who is currently back in Kansas City for the NFL's pre-season.
And while he may not be able to make every one of her tour stops, the football player certainly makes it count when he does show up. Back in June, Travis even joined Taylor on stage in London for the interlude to "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."
“It was such a fun, playful part of the show,” he told brother Jason Kelce of his surprise appearance during a July 3 episode of his New Heights podcast. “It was the perfect time for me to go up there and be a ham and have some fun not only with her, Kam and Jan but the crowd. Really try and get everyone excited for the rest of the show. It was awesome."
Travis added, "Had an absolute blast.”
